WORKSPACE CS combines the proven Symply WORKSPACE hardware platform with the creative.space operating system and creative workflow environment, creating powerful shared storage designed around the way creative teams actually work. 

Rather than treating storage as simply somewhere to keep files, WORKSPACE CS brings storage, media browsing, collaboration, remote access, review and file movement together within a single creative environment. 

Projects are organised into intuitive shared Spaces that users can access directly from their desktop or through a web browser. Editors can work with shared media from their preferred creative applications, while producers, managers and other team members can browse, organise, review and share content without needing the same desktop workflow. 

Built on enterprise-class Symply hardware and backed by Symply support, WORKSPACE CS is purchased as a professional storage platform with an ongoing creative.space software subscription.

Creative workflows have become increasingly fragmented. Shared storage is often only the starting point, with separate products added for media management, remote access, review, file transfer and collaboration. WORKSPACE CS brings these functions closer to the storage itself, giving teams a common platform from which to store, access, organise, share and work with their media. 

Content can be divided into shared Spaces for projects, departments or teams, with appropriate users, groups and permissions. Spaces can be mounted directly to a user’s desktop for creative applications or accessed through a web interface for browsing, sharing and collaborative workflows.

WORKSPACE CS uses a ZFS-based storage architecture, providing a resilient foundation for shared creative storage while taking advantage of the high-speed Ethernet connectivity and expansion capabilities of the WORKSPACE platform.

Built on the proven Symply WORKSPACE hardware platform, WORKSPACE NAS combines high-capacity storage with file, block and object services, data protection, remote storage integration, secure connectivity, application hosting and comprehensive system monitoring. 

Storage can be presented using SMB/CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, iSER or S3, allowing the same platform to support everyday file sharing, production storage, application servers, backup infrastructure and object-storage workflows.

WORKSPACE NAS does not have to operate as an isolated storage appliance. Connect another WORKSPACE, an existing third-party NAS or S3-compatible storage and make those resources available to WORKSPACE services for backup, migration, archive, applications and other data-management workflows. 

A WORKSPACE NAS deployed today as production or nearline storage can take on additional roles as requirements change – creating separate storage pools and volumes for different workloads, presenting them with different protocols, isolating traffic across dedicated networks, and hosting approved applications directly on the system.

WORKSPACE XE is professional collaborative storage designed for broadcast, post-production and demanding media environments where performance, application compatibility and workflow integration matter. 

Built around an optimised IP SAN architecture, WORKSPACE XE delivers block-level storage connectivity across standard high-speed Ethernet while presenting shared storage to connected workstations as locally mounted volumes. 

Editors, colourists, audio teams, journalists and other creative users can work directly from the same centralised storage, with native support for collaborative workflows including Avid Media Composer bin locking. 

From individual post-production teams to larger broadcast facilities, WORKSPACE XE combines high-performance shared storage with the flexibility to add professional Media Asset Management, automated storage tiering and cloud-connected workflows as requirements grow. 

Storage First. Workflow Ready. 

At its core, WORKSPACE XE is designed to provide fast, dependable shared storage for professional media production. It can be extended with Incite Media Asset Management, adding professional tools for ingest, media management, metadata and logging, search, proxy viewing, editing, transcoding, newsroom workflows and archive management. 

Optional HSM technology can also extend the WORKSPACE filesystem into S3-compatible storage, including Centara Cloud Storage, moving less-active content away from primary production storage while keeping it accessible to users. 

Optional Incite Media Asset Management 

For broadcast, post-production, news and other media environments that require deeper control over content, WORKSPACE XE can be integrated with Incite MAM from IMC Technologies. Incite has its roots in professional broadcast production and provides a media-management layer around WORKSPACE XE, helping organisations manage content from ingest and logging through editing, delivery and archive.
