High Performance, High Scalability, One Solution
The Workspace XE-R24 is the first of the Symply rack-mounted collaborative storage offerings. This 4RU 24-bay solution comes as standard with redundant system disks, and 4 x 25Gb Ethernet SFP28 ports, with the option to add further 25GbE or 100GbE ports, to allow for direct connected clients, switches clients, or a combination of both.
Featuring 24 front-loading HDDs, providing capacities from 144TB to 528TB, with an option of adding up to 8 x U.3 NVMe drives providing an additional ultra-high performance storage tier, from 30TB to 245TB.
The capacity of the Workspace XE-R24 can be scaled via the addition of 4RU 24 Bay expansion chassis, providing over 2PB of raw storage capacity.

Workspace XE-R60 is the highest-performing of the Workspace XE product family. This ultra-high performance, and high-density solution that features dual RAID engines, comes installed with up to 60 HDDs (up to 1.3PB), or 60 SDDs (up to 1.8PB), or a hybrid configuration of 30 HDDs and 30 SSDs for a perfect blend of capacity and performance for even the most challenging workflows.
As standard, the Workspace XE-R60 features 2 x 100Gb Ethernet QSFP56 ports for high-performance connectivity and redundant system disks. The solution can also be scaled via the addition of 102 bay expansion systems.

SymplyWORKSPACE XE solutions are delivered ready to go with RAID protection enabled, file system configured, and extensively tested. It’s designed to be ready to use in under ten minutes from unboxing to powering on. No in-depth knowledge of Ethernet networking is required: simply log into the management console, install the driver for your operating system, and use our connection app (macOS, Windows, and Linux) to connect to the shared volume. And you’re done. A step-by-step guide is provided via our comprehensive online support portal, but rest assured that technical support is just a phone call away.
Ongoing management of the WORKSPACE XE is incredibly simple with built-in management tools that maintain the performance of the system, and optional advanced storage management tools that enable you to tier data to free up capacity for current projects.

They are also designed specifically for creative professionals to allow them to get the job done without compromising HD, 4K and 8K workflows. Choose from all-HDD systems for performant high-capacity storage, all-NVMe for ultra high-performance RAW workflows, or a combination of HDD and NVMe for the best of both worlds.

WORKSPACE XE uses an IP SAN protocol for more efficient block-level connectivity over high-speed Ethernet LAN networks or direct connection from the WORKSPACE XE to hosts, made possible by extensive connectivity on the appliance. By controlling and optimising both ends of the protocol WORKSPACE XE can provide a faster and more reliable connection, utilizing more of the available Ethernet bandwidth without the latency usually associated with NAS systems.
In addition to providing efficient, reliable, and low latency connectivity to cross-platform clients the shared storage from the WORKSPACE XE is also presented to clients as a locally attached device versus a network share, bringing better compatibility to many creative applications that have a preference to work with locally attached devices.
