Each SymplyPRO Rackmounted Thunderbolt LTO utilizes a robust and stylish metal alloy enclosure and features dual fans for optimum cooling and premium power supply, it’s designed for years of trouble-free service. The Rackmount systems include two Thunderbolt 3 ports for daisy chaining and fast device charging. Uniquely they also include a SAS Expansion Port and SAS Host Port in case you need to connect other SAS devices to your Thunderbolt-equipped computer or use the SymplyPRO Thunderbolt LTO with a non-Thunderbolt workstation with a SAS connection.
All SymplyPRO Thunderbolt Rackmount configurations feature Linear Tape File System (LTFS) support, for compatibility with a myriad of backup and archive applications. Ensure data is stored in a non-proprietary format that is easy to interchange and migrate. In some use cases, LTFS can reduce the need for backup or archive software and allows users to easily interchange data using LTO cartridges or copying data to and from hard drives or SSDs.
