Powered by Seagate MACH.2 multi-actuator drives in a RAID 5 configuration, SPARK XT achieves real-world read/write speeds at around 2,000 MB/s and 2,500 MB/s* —perfect for demanding 8K+ video, VFX, simulation, and high-volume ingest workflows.
With up to 144TB of storage in a compact, durable form factor, SPARK XT is built for both studio environments and on-set use. It’s optimized for creatives who need speed and stability without the trade-offs of flash storage. MACH.2 drives use innovative dual-actuator technology to double read/write performance, making SPARK XT the ideal balance of performance, capacity, and cost-efficiency.
SPARK XT is also field-serviceable—fans and power supplies can be replaced quickly without shipping your system back or risking valuable content. Add the optional SAM (Self-Self-Assisted Maintenance) kit to replace parts on-site in minutes.
