SymplyPRO XTH Thunderbolt, SymplyPRO 1RU Thunderbolt, SymplyPRO 2RU Thunderbolt, SymplyPRO XTH SAS, SymplyPRO 1RU SAS, and SymplyPRO 2RU SAS systems all ship with one LTO drive pre-installed and tested as standard. These can either be LTO-7, LTO-8, or LTO-9 Half-Height drives, or the latest LTO-9 Full-Height drives. All of these products can be easily upgraded with a second LTO drive using our unique SymplyCableLess technology. 

Symply CableLess is a unique cable-free backplane design that not only eliminates cable, crimp connector, and vibration failures but allows fast and simple insertion and removal of LTO drives, for an upgrade, transport and easier serviceability. This advanced design is implemented in all our Rack-mounted and dual-drive desktop systems. So, you can start with one LTO drive and add another at a later date, or decide to go with a dual drive system from the outset, and have the flexibility to mix and match LTO drives as required or upgrade as needed. The choice is yours.
